Los Angeles based glass artist, Kazuki Takizawa will be teaching a summer intensive glassblowing workshop at Pilchuck Glass School (Stanwood, Washington) starting July 27th, 2019. The class is called "Working with the Current" and it is an all-level class that involves training on how to make traditional glass vessel shapes as well as incorporating experimentations and creativity to find unorthodox ways of forming and blowing glass.

Pilchuck Glass School is an international center for glass art education. Pilchuck campus in Stanwood, Washington, is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains amidst a working tree farm.
From May through September every year, Pilchuck's summer and fall programs offers a series of courses as well as residencies for established artists in all media. Summer sessions vary in length and offer concurrent courses in a variety of glassblowing processes for artists of all skill levels. Small classes taught by world-renowned artists and instructors emphasize experimentation and teamwork while fostering individual initiative and expression.
